Working with think tank Demos to produce films that explore the concerns different publics have with emerging technologies. More often than not we only have first contact with new technologies when they are in the shops. At this final stage in development is it too late change the direction new technologies are heading? Is consumer democracy where we vote with what we buy a feeble replacement for real democracy?
Demos and the Environment Agency perform a series of social experiments to find out how we would deal with a real democratic choice when we are informed about the issues that surround emerging technologies.
